The Gardis SA was officially established in 1996, when the company GARDY, based in Geneva, operating in the design and manufacture of electric cabinets and present with many production units on the whole of Switzerland, decides to terminate its business after more than a hundred years of history.
In 1996 Orazio Cerboni establishes the Gardis SA and acquires the agency in the canton of Ticino of the company Gardy, at that time located in Davesco-Soragno. Despite the economic crisis of the time and thanks to new strategies and the study of innovative products, the Gardis SA successfully passes the unfavorable market conditions.
In 1998, the company moves to Cadro (Lugano) to the current headquarters located in via La Stampa, where a new production premise was built. Thus it serves the market as a manufacturer of electric cabinets and wiring in general, and a manufacturer of aluminum cabinets of various sizes and differently customized.
In fifteen years, the Gardis SA becomes well established in the manufacture of electric cabinets throughout the canton of Ticino, thanks to the constant commitment and professionalism of its entire staff.
In 2014, the Gardis SA innovates further. In fact, it recruits new technical resources and uses innovative technologies for the manufacture and wiring of electrical cabinets and equipment.
The Gardis SA is on the market with a wider and comprehensive range of electrical cabinets, ranging from the electricity distribution panels for civil and industrial use to the automation cabinets in general up to the supply of MV electrical panels.
